Ambassador Committee

Our Chamber Ambassadors are a primary liaison with our current membership. This dynamic group of individuals also play a vital role in member retention, events and communications and are critical to our Chamber's success. They assist with the retention rate of existing members by conducting an on-going program of goodwill calls and networking opportunities with our membership.

Each Ambassador has made a commitment to assure that two-way communications are maintained between members and the Chamber and that member questions and concerns are brought to the attention of the Chamber. The Ambassadors help keep the Chamber in tune with our membership's interests and needs.

Being an Ambassador provides them with a unique opportunity to make business contacts that they might not otherwise have. There also is high visibility for them and recognition for their employers. The Ambassadors are a group of dedicated volunteers from various businesses and organizations throughout Tuolumne County.

Ambassadors should plan on being involved in about 5 hours per month of activities for the Chamber (not all during business hours). It is up to each Ambassador to determine if their schedule allows participation. Ambassadors visit new members to encourage their involvement in the many programs offered by The Chamber. They are the primary greeters at social functions, helping to make everyone attending feel welcome.

They also participate in Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings for Chamber member businesses. They attend Ambassador luncheons and meet on the 1st Thur. of every month. For more information, or to become an Ambassador, contact our Chamber office at 209-532-4212.
